RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster & Offshore
Experience: Day Skipper Award or substantial practical experience Duration: 22weeks Time: 7.00pm - 9.30pm
Cost: £315 (includes chart packs)
This advanced course studies navigation, meteorology and pilotage for the theoretical element of the RYA/MCA Award.

RYA First Aid Course
Experience: None Time: 9.30am – 5.30pm Duration: 1 day Cost: £77.50
This course is designed to provide a working knowledge of First Aid to sailors who are within 60 miles of a safe haven. The syllabus is based on the recommendations of Health and Safety Executive and the Department of Transport and covers all the basic principles including resuscitation, CPR and hypothermia. It satisfies the requirements of the RYA and BCU for the Instructor’s First Aid qualification.

GMDSS / VHF Radio Operators Course
Experience: None Time: 9.30am – 5.30pm Duration: 1 day Cost: £90 + exam fee (approx £25). This course is essential for sailors wishing to use a VHF radio. The course finishes with a short exam in the afternoon.
