Annual subscriptions are due on the 1st January regardless of when application for membership is accepted.
Please Note: Club members are still required to pay a full Green Fee unless they hold a valid Panshanger Season Ticket. However some competitions may be subject to a discounted Green Fee.
Club News: New Captain 2012 - Dave Morton
The new Captain for Panshanger Golf Club in 2012 is Dave Morton. Dave (Pictured Top Left) will be hitting the first tee shot of the new club calendar on Sunday 8th January. The team at Panshanger wish you the best of luck for your year!
Club News: New Captains Carole Sheldon & George Tight
Panshanger Golf Club have new captains for both the Ladies and Senior sections. Carole Sheldon (Pictured Left) and George Tight (Pictured Left) will take over the reins in 2012 and the team at Panshanger wish them the best of luck and look forward to working with them for a successful year.
Panshanger Ladies finish 5th in Hertfordshire Ladies Event.
A team of 4 past ladies captains took part recently in the annual Hertfordshire Lady Golf Captain Spring Meeting. The team consisting of Judy Pryke, Gillian Gardner-Smith, Linda Roberts & Debbie Osman can home in an impressive 5th postion in treacherous conditions at Mill Green Golf Club. Congratulations to you all on a great result.
Panshanger A out of the Clapham Common Shield & Ellis Cup.
Panshanger A have been knocked out of the Clapham Common Shield & Ellis Cup in the opening round by Batchwood Hall. In cold, wet and windy conditions which Captain Mike Harris described as "some of the worst I have played in for quite a while" all pairs struggled with the best score being 36 points from Batchwood and a 35 point effort to lead Panshanger by Dave Reynolds and Jody Parsons.
It's now left to Panshanger B to try and progress in the competition.
Panshanger drawn in Clapham Common Shield & Ellis Cup
Panshanger Golf Club have entered 2 teams into the Clapham Common Platinum Shield and Ellis Cup this year which is a competition run by the National Association of Public and Proprietary Golf Clubs and Courses (NAPGC). Panshanger have previously won this competition on 2 separate occassions.
The competition is a Team Knock out with six pairs per team playing stableford greensomes. Three pairs play at home and three pairs play away. Their are eight areas throughout the country with all the area winners meeting in the National Final to be played at Hainault Forest Golf Club in September.
Panshanger's A side have been drawn to play Batchwood Hall A in the First round of the London East Region 1 section, the match is to be played on the 28/04/12. Panshanger's B side have been lucky to receive a bye into the second round.
