Can I bring a barbecue?
Barbeques are not permitted anywhere on the site as Stanborough is a green flag award winning site committed to reducing the risk of fire and population of vermin.
Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome and we encourage responsible dog ownership here at Stanborough Park. It is a public facility with much wildlife and as such we request that dog owners keep dogs on leads. Dogs are prohibited within the children’s play areas. Any dog mess must be collected and disposed of utilising the many dog bins which are dotted around the park.
Do I have to pay for parking?
There is a fee to cover car parking. Discounted parking is available to local residents. Residents Parking Permits can be obtained by applying with the watersports Reception. The parking fee is reinvested back into the facilities and enables up-keep the Park grounds, toilets and other facilities, operate the CCTV system and maintain our outdoor lighting.
What time does the park close?
Stanborough is a public access facility which is open to the public all year round and at any time. However, vehicles over 2 metres in height are restricted on access.
Can I camp or stay overnight at Stanborough Park?
Camping or staying overnight in a caravan, mobile-home or other is strictly prohibited.
