Health Walks at Stanborough Park

Health walks are all led by trained volunteer leaders and are a great way to get some fresh air, gentle exercise and meet some new people - all walks are followed by a friendly cuppa!

If you want to get outdoors and more active but aren’t sure how to start, why not step out in confidence at the Stanborough Park Health Walks? Finesse Leisure are coordinating a programme of free weekend, lunch time and evening (summer) walks starting from outside the café and reception area at the south lake.

Weekly walks take place every Tuesday from 12.30 to 1.30pm throughout the year (excluding public holidays).

Between April to the end of October there is also an evening walk every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm.

Saturday afternoon walks are the 2nd Saturday of the month 2-3pm (Starting in April - December)

All walks leave from the south lake meeting in the café area. New walkers are asked to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the walk on their first visit.

All walks are grade 2-3 and are up to 1 hour long. All walks have no stiles, are buggy accessible and are led by volunteer trained leaders. There is a charge for the car park, but if you are a resident of Welwyn Hatfield Council you can obtain a discount.
