Come and join in our school holiday activities at Hatfield Swim Centre.
- Fun Holiday Activities
- Special courses to introduce children to water based activities
- Run by qualified sports club coaches
- Suitable for ages 8 & over
Learn to dive:
From the basics, right through to using the diving boards, our fully qualified Diving Instructor will teach you how to dive. Children must be over 8 and deep water confident to take part.
Flip n Fun:
Flip n Fun is for 8-14 year olds and includes organised games, snorkelling, mini water polo, lifesaving skills and diving. Children must be deep water confident and have passed the ASA stage 3 to take part.
Beginners Classes:
(Swimming crash courses)
- A structured class for non- swimmers who are confident in the water without a parent or instructor, introducing front and back paddle and progressing to full waterborne status. Parents are ot required to be in the water.
- Classes designed for non- swimmers who are less confident in the water. The instructor is in the water with the class and will work with the children to build water awareness and confidence. Parents are not required to be in the water

Swim Crash course
Non Swimmers - Stage 1
8.30am-9.00am
3 YEARS PLUS/Equivalent to level 2
Must have previous experience and able to swim 5
Metres.
Non-Swimmers - Stage 1/2
9.00am - 9.30am & 9.30am - 10.00am
Gaining water Confidence, using floats to learn to swim.
3years plus/ equivalent to level 1
Stroke improvement - Stage 4 upwards
10.00am - 10.30am
Children able to swim 10metres or children level 4 upwards.
Different stroke everyday.
