RYA Level 3 Better Sailing
The objectives of this programme are to offer skills development programmes and broader sailing experiences at different venues in more challenging boats and to bridge the gap between Level 2 and the 5 Advanced Modules.
There is a lot of flexibility to tailor the programme to your needs but it would include most of the following modules:
- Consolidation of Level 1 & 2 skills
- Introduction to sailing with Spinnakers
- 5 Essentials sailing (better transitions, go faster on all points of sail)
- Fast boats (including Trapezing, using Telltales)
- Racing techniques and tactics (practical)
- Faster sailing without the Rudder
